This mill is mainly used to the benification equipment, ceramics, chemical and cement industry etc. with two types, the dry one and the wet type. Ball mill working principle:
The Ball Mill is a horizontal rotating device transmitted by the outer gear. The materials are transferred to the grinding chamber through the quill shaft uniformly. There are ladder liner and ripple liner and different specifications of steel balls in the chamber. The centrifugal force caused by rotation of barrel brings the steel balls to a certain height and impact and grind the materials. The ground materials are discharged through the discharging board thus the grinding process is finished.
Ball Mill Maintenance
1.To check regularly if the bolt of anchor, liner,and mill gate get loose or not.
2.Every lubricating point should be checked per hour at least to make sure that the temperature of main bearing and transmission bearing must not exceed 70℃,and 55℃ for the reducer.
3.To check the leakage of water, oil, and material.
4.To record the variation of electric current of the motor. If it is abnormal, the ball mill should be stopped and inspected.
5.If the rolling sound of the gear and pinion is normal or not.
6.In order to find the fault risk of the equipment, the mill must be shut down regularly except the normal maintenance. It should be inspected carefully for the main parts’ connection,wearing situation, and the discovered fault should be dealt properly,meanwhile the detailed inspection and repair should be recorded.
